Terms of Use

Last updated October 2, 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Zuros LLC (“we” or “us”), the makers of Bell Prepper. By using Bell Prepper, you agree to them. We’ve tried to keep them short and simple.

Your account

You can use the trial version of Bell Prepper without an account. To buy Bell Prepper, or to back up and sync your recipes, you sign in with your Google account. Keep that account secure: anyone who can sign in to it can see and change your recipes.

An account can be signed in on up to 10 devices at once. Signing in on an 11th device signs out the one used least recently. A device that’s signed out keeps its recipes; it just stops syncing until you sign in again. You can see and sign out your devices from Settings → Account.

Buying Bell Prepper

Bell Prepper is free to download and try, with no time limit. The trial version has every feature, for up to 25 recipes and 100 photos (200 MB) kept on your device, and doesn’t back up or sync your recipes.

Unlocking Bell Prepper is a one-time purchase for each platform (Android, Windows or Linux). There’s no subscription. It gives you a personal license, tied to your account, to use Bell Prepper on that platform with unlimited recipes, the photo limits under “Storage limits”, and cloud backup and sync.

A license is for a platform, not a store: Windows bought on our website or on the Microsoft Store unlocks either Windows version. Each platform is bought separately.

Bell Prepper also offers optional extras inside the app, such as more photo storage. Unlike the app itself, extras belong to your account, so they work on every platform you use Bell Prepper on.

Your license is personal. Please don’t sell it or share your account so that others can use it.

Refunds

If you bought Bell Prepper on our website, you can get a full refund within 30 days of buying it, for any reason.

Google Play and the Microsoft Store have their own refund rules for purchases made through them. Where a store lets us refund you ourselves, we’ll honor the same 30 days if you ask.

After a refund or chargeback, Bell Prepper goes back to the trial version on that platform. Your recipes stay on your device, and you can still view, change and export all of them, but you can’t add more than the trial version allows, and syncing stops.

If your account no longer owns any platform, the copy of your recipes on our servers is kept for 90 days, in case you come back, and is then permanently deleted. You can delete your account sooner yourself at any time.

We may decline further purchases on our website from an account that has been refunded for the same platform more than twice, or that has charged back a purchase.

Extras are final sales and aren’t refundable, including if you find you don’t need them. The 30-day refund covers the app itself, not extras. This doesn’t take away any right to a refund that the law gives you and that can’t be waived, or the rules of the store you bought from (Google Play, for example, may refund a purchase itself shortly after it’s made). If an extra doesn’t work as described, contact us and we’ll fix it or refund it.

Using Bell Prepper offline

Bell Prepper works fully offline. When you’re online, it quietly checks your license at most once a day.

If it goes 30 days without a successful check, it warns you first (from day 25) and then gives you 3 more days from the first time you open it offline. After that it works like the trial version until it can connect: every recipe stays there for you to view, change and export, but you can’t add more than the trial version allows. It never locks, signs you out or deletes your recipes because of this, and as soon as it’s online again, everything is back.

Traveling and where Bell Prepper is sold

Bell Prepper is sold only in some countries, but once you have it, it works wherever you take it. A few things to know when you travel or move:

Your recipes are yours

You own the recipes, photos and notes you put in Bell Prepper. You give us permission only to store, back up and sync them so that they reach your devices. We don’t publish them, share them or use them for anything else.

You’re responsible for what you add. Recipes copied from websites, books or other apps are for your own personal use.

Storage limits

To keep the service fair and affordable, each account has these limits. Photos in the recycle bin count until they’re deleted forever.

The trial version has its own, smaller limits on each device: 25 recipes, 100 photos and 200 MB of photos, counting the recycle bin too.

Things you agree not to do

We may close an account that breaks these terms. We act on illegal content when we’re told about it; we don’t go looking through people’s recipes.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account. It happens immediately and can’t be undone: your recipes and photos are erased from our servers, from that device, and from your other devices the next time each one connects. See the Privacy Policy for the small records we keep afterwards.

Changes to Bell Prepper

We’ll keep improving Bell Prepper, which means features may change. We work to keep older versions of the app working and syncing, and if one ever can’t, it will keep your recipes and tell you to update.

Cloud backup and sync may change or end

Bell Prepper works on your device without our servers. Cloud backup and sync is a service we run at our own ongoing cost, so we may change it, limit it (including its storage limits) or end it at any time, for any reason.

If we end it, we’ll tell you in the app at least 60 days ahead, so your photos have time to download to your devices. Your recipes stay on your devices, and the app keeps working without it.

No guarantees

Bell Prepper backs up and syncs your recipes, but it is provided “as is”. We can’t promise that it will always be available or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid for Bell Prepper.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of West Virginia, USA. Any dispute about them will be settled in the state or federal courts located in West Virginia. If you live somewhere whose consumer laws give you rights that can’t be taken away, nothing here takes them away.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we’ll update the date at the top. For a change that matters, we’ll let you know in the app first. Using Bell Prepper after a change means you accept the new terms.
